Beginning students will learn basic varisai (swara combinations), bhajan, gitam, swarajati, and varnam, and be placed in classes according to their level. Students will receive practical and theoretical instruction in all aspects of music and allied arts.
Intermediate students study varnam onwards, learning more complex kirtanam and specialized musical compositions, and practise manodharma elements appropriate to the intermediate level. Students will receive practical and theoretical instruction in all aspects of music and allied arts.
Advanced students will learn kirtanams and other advanced compositions, and do advanced manodharma work that complete their understanding of the Carnatic repertoire. Students will receive practical and theoretical instruction in all aspects of music and allied arts. They will also be required to study music pedagogy and research.
